USC Columbia Technology Incubator Awarded $50,000 Grant - The Incubator seeks to increase support of women-owned businesses in SC through 3PhaseSC.
The USC Columbia Technology Incubator has been awarded $50,000 as a part of the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Growth Accelerator Fund Competition (GAFC) to support the 3PhaseSC pre-SBIR/STTR accelerator. The $50,000 will be used to better serve underrepresented entrepreneurs in South Carolina by recruiting and mentoring up to 12 women-owned businesses focused on health care and pharma supply chain to grow entrepreneurs’ readiness to join the 3PhaseSC program and apply to Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants.

USC Columbia Technology Incubator Receives $200,000 Grant from Truist.
The USC Columbia Technology Incubator announced Monday (Oct. 25, 2021) a $200,000 grant from Truist Financial Corporation through the Truist Charitable Fund, a donor-advised fund at The Winston-Salem Foundation, to provide funding for scholarships and training programs that will support the future information technology (IT) workforce in South Carolina.

USC Columbia Technology Incubator SOKONI Launch Pad E-Commerce Development Program
The USC Columbia Technology Incubator, 37 Oaks, and Wells Fargo have partnered to create a program in Columbia to help minority-owned, women-owned small businesses jumpstart their e-commerce reach. SOKONI is a platform by 37 Oaks, which has an online university based out of Chicago.
